WORK IN OUR STUDIO
We recently renovated and expanded our studio intending to start to build a community where we can create together, share our knowledge, and get to know clay. We desire to offer space and a suitable environment to people who want to create and relax with clay. No prior knowledge is required for participation and the work is adapted to each individual.
There are two appointments available for working in the studio in one week (1x in the morning and 1x in the afternoon). One appointment lasts 4 hours, but you can book both appointments, i.e. twice a week for 4 hours.
Mentoring included:
MONTHLY COST FOR VISIT 1X PER WEEK: 105€
MONTHLY COST FOR VISIT 2X PER WEEK: 185€
Independent work without mentoring:
MONTHLY COST FOR VISIT 1X PER WEEK: 80€
MONTHLY COST FOR VISIT 2X PER WEEK: 165€
WHAT TO EXPECT
We will learn the basic techniques of hand shaping and building objects from clay, molding clay on a spindle, decorating objects, and the basics of glazing and firing clay... in short, we will lay the foundations on which each individual can then develop their ideas and create according to their imagination.
The visit includes the use of our studio, materials, tools, and accessories as well as high-temperature firing (biscuit and glaze). Mentoring is also available (if desired) so that later the individual can continue working on our premises on their own.
Bring only comfortable clothes suitable for "dirty" work and a good mood.
Good music, a homely atmosphere, tea, and snacks will be provided during the work. For the pleasant functioning of the studio, we take ten minutes after the end of creation, to clean the tools and return the studio to its original state.
PICK UP
Products are usually finished within four weeks. When they are ready for collection, we will notify you by email. You can pick them up at our studio or we can send them to you by post (at your expense). Once you receive the notice, you have four weeks to collect it. Unfortunately, due to limited storage options, we cannot store your products longer.
THE CANCELLATION PERIOD
If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least one week before the selected date. If you want to move your reservation to another date, you can only do it once.
